    TLDR:
    Food: 4.5/5
    Service: 3/5
    Overall: 3.75/4

Interestingly, the service here is not as bad as everyone says it is. However, my table also ordered very extravagantly, with dishes that included lobster, a thousand year old egg, fried fish, and roast duck. Because of this, they might've treated us special (we were seemingly the only table that got free soup). The food here is pretty good, despite new management and it being a hole in the wall. Although it wasn't the best canto style food I've ever had, the dishes are all solid, and they pretty much sell all the essentials you need if you're having a chinese dinner party at your house, and want to pretend you spent time to make some crazy semi fancy dish. Like the last grammatically terrible sentence I wrote, you should "run on" in here and get some food! (Or run on in here and RKO me for making that joke)

Stopped by this place to get some Roast Pork and it was quite expensive, and we wanted a certain amount, but they wouldn't cut that amount for us because it was too little.

So, we ended up not getting any Roast Pork from them. Also, the piece that were really to give us, was not fresh at all. You could tell how dark and not fresh it was.

Also, the butchers that were working there were not friendly either, you could hear them talking smack about us because we only wanted so little and that we didn't want to pay such a high price for it.

As we walked out, saw a sign on the window for a Hong Kong Iced Coffees for buy 1 get 1, so we ordered two. They were horrible, all sugar water and no taste.

Don't bother coming here, there are much better options elsewhere in Rowland Heights.

Leung Kee was 100 yards from the hotel we were staying at. Needed a quick simple lunch before attending a family gathering.

    We ordered Roast Pork and
Baby Bok Choy w/Salted Fish. The Roast Pork was fine. Crunchy crisp skin and not fatty. The Baby Bok Choy was excellent. Nicely sauteed but, only a few pieces of Salted Fish.

*** The Waitress did not speak English. It's okay, as I am able to speak the Guangzhou dialect ***

I went to here about 11:40 am and ordered some roasted pork (center cut烧腩仔),it's was highest price in meat sections also more expensive than other Sam woo chains restaurants but it's fine, I wasn't checking my order since I've ordered roasted pork center cut in many different cantonese restaurants, after I backed home from work I opened my order it's almost half of it is bones and roasted pork center cut not supposed to have bones,so I called the restaurant asking if roasted pork has bones,a lady answered no,roasted pork don't have any bones,I told her that I bought some roasted pork today it's a lot of bones with it,she asked me to hold and she asked another guy to answer the phone,he was very disrespectful and told me roasted pork do have bones, I've bought roasted pork in many different cantonese restaurant this is first time I got bones from it,will never come again

My Wife and I came by to just pick up a roast duck, to take home for dinner, so I couldn't tell you about the menu items, or the rest of the restaurant.

The restaurant itself, looked OK, average looking, simple decor, place looked clean.  The front counter had the heated display case with roast duck and pork hanging in it, steam table with other misc. side and entree dish's displayed for the picking.

The Lady handling the bbq section didn't look to friendly but wasn't disrespectful either, had the personality of wet cardboard.  The Guy doing the cutting was about the same.

The duck we choose was then cut up, and placed in a togo container, nicely displayed, includes dipping sauce.  Dipping sauce was a disappointment, the sauce should be a slightly thick, sweet & tangy type of sauce, this one was watery and weak in flavor.

Other than the sauce, the duck was good.  Just buy your own plumb sauce from the market.  3 stars from me.
